Volunteering Events

Warrior's Weekend

Warrior's Weekend is an annual event that allows veteran or active soldiers and their family to fish and relax for a weekend. Here, it will feature some our kids volunteering their time to help.

Elementary Robotics Competiton

Each year, our Calhoun High School robotics team has helped out in the annual elementary competition. This is where surrounding elementary schools build a robot that compete in three different events. Here are some of our students helping out.

COMMUNITY
OUTREACH

Team 3834 is more than about building robots. Keeping true to the goals of FIRST, we strive to make a difference throughout our community and inspire a greater appreciation for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We're able to do this through our community outreach.

Pescado Grande Fishing Tournament

Pescado Grande is annual event held at a neighboring town, Point Comfort. Here, out students helped with numerous things such as helping serve food, clean up, and transport the fish. Check out our students at work.

The annual flag raising event for our veterans and active soldiers is held at the IBC Bank. Here, our Crabbots members helped with greeting and food. Check out our members at work.

Flag Raising

Food Bank Drive

Our community food bank holds a drive each month. People who are less fortunate are given necessary food to help them out. Here, our students help bag and pass out supplies. Check out our students at work.
